Gunite (Shotcrete) – a layer of concrete, resulting in a shotcreting on the surface of a shotcrete machine.
Wet concrete – the method of shotcrete, in which a ready-mixed concrete is supplied to the surface.
Dry shotcrete – the method of shotcrete, in which the dry mix is wetted by water in the machine itself, and then fed to the surface.
Adhesion – bond coating with the base, on the strength of which depends the coating life.
Cohesion – bond coating with the base, on the strength of which depends the strength of the coating.
Plasticizers – substances that are used to improve the elasticity and plasticity of the material.
outbound – bounced off to the side, not caught on the surface when applying a part of the mix.
Setting accelerator – substance used to accelerate the hardening of the mix.
Injector – device for dosated spraying the mix.
Nozzle – a section of shotcrete machine for dry shotcrete, where it is wetted with water.
Laitance – a mixture of cement, water, and sometimes—slaked lime, diluted to a liquid consistency, which allows the creation of an adhesive layer on the surface.
